Abraxas at 90 State Apartments

Entire team is great! From Denise and Jonathan in management all the way to David in maintenance. Building is kept clean and smelling really good majority of the time. Amenities may not be finished but I am looking forward to the amazing results! They are always working on the new amenities and I definitely do see an effort. I’ve been here for almost a year and I guess I moved in at great timing for things to be upgraded. Patience is a virtue while staying positive. The places to grab food are lovely also the night life scene if that’s your thing. It’s relatively safe in my experience. I enjoy my apartment and the amenities in my home. Refrigerator with ice maker and filtered water, washer and dryer, beautiful bathroom, and amazing kitchen to meal prep.

I recently signed me 3rd lease here at Abraxas at 90 State Street. Although the amenities are still not completed after my 2 years of living here at Abraxas at 90 State Street progress is being made. That along with my issues with the management team especially Denise in the management office who is very rude and disrespectful towards me and has been for most of my time living here is the reason why I gave this building a 3 star rating. The maintenance team lead by David and Tameka are excellent they fix any issues I have in a timely manner and keep the building spotless. I would recommend people living here but as long as Denise is still part of management I will say think twice and especially beware of her sales pitch!!

I had a great experience touring the apartment building with Denise. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. Denise took the time to show me around the building, explain the amenities, and answer all of my questions without making me feel rushed.

I’ve lived in this apartment community for about 16 months, and overall it has been a positive experience. My apartment is very comfortable and modern, and the location of the building in downtown Albany is extremely convenient. Management and staff (Johnathan, Denise, David, Tamika and Abraham) have been very helpful and responsive, and any issues or maintenance requests I’ve submitted have been handled in a timely and professional manner. The only reason I’m not giving a full five stars is that some of the amenities that were advertised are still not available after more than a year. While this hasn’t taken away from my day-to-day living experience, it would be great to see those amenities completed as promised. Overall, this is a solid place to live, and I would recommend it to anyone

I initially had a positive experience at Abraxas. The apartments themselves are nice, and the leasing staff were helpful at first. However, several issues became clear over time. The property does not have any amenities, despite being told at the time of my lease signing in November 2024 that they would be completed by spring. After speaking with other tenants and checking reviews, it appears the amenities have been repeatedly delayed and still are not finished. When my lease renewal was offered, the rent increased significantly with no upgrades or added amenities, which ultimately led me to move out. After moving out, I experienced issues with my security deposit refund. I was told to pick up the check, but when I deposited it, the check bounced. I returned to the leasing office to follow
