800 Empire Boulevard - Platine Property Mgmt

I lived here for 2 years in a cozy 1 bedroom and had a great experience. Whenever I had questions or concerns, Joseph from the property management and Orlando, the super, were always responsive and pleasant. Never had any issues with neighbors or pests. The fixtures and appliances are modern & new. The in- unit laundry and air conditioning were lifesavers. The building is clean & pretty quiet. The only recommendation for improvement I have is to adequately furnish the rooftop.

Joseph is a non-responsive property manager and the building is infested with roaches. Water often runs brown (see video) and the building often has issues with the city and coned.

I've been living at 800 Empire Boulevard for over a year now, and I have to say, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive! I was a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews, but I'm so glad I took a chance. First of all, the management company has been incredibly responsive to any issues I've had. The rooftop amenity space is now complete and it's amazing! The views of the city are stunning, and it's a great place to relax and unwind. I've also been impressed with the quality of the apartments. My unit has high-quality finishes, and the split AC units in every room have been a game-changer during the hot summer months. I’m a Chicago native and I moved to New York last year. I had never been to New York and found 800 Empire blvd while searching online for a place. My roommate and I reached out to Joseph, he is the property manager. He was very professional, nice and timely. We needed a place fast and of course had lots of questions due to us never seeing the apartment. He answered all our questions and made our move seamless. Once we moved in, any time we needed anything Joseph was quick to respond and handle all issues. Due to a new career opportunity, I relocated to Jersey. We loved the apartment, very quiet building. I think the property is fairly new, and it’s well maintained. Joesph was great from move in until move out. Great management, great place to live!

We are finishing our second year in this brand new building. The apartments are built mostly with high quality materials, every room has a split a/c for heating and cooling. The insulation is pretty impressive , almost never needed to turn the heat on during winters. The management is responsive, and the superintendent John is very responsive whenever I need any repairs. 4 starts due to a bit pricy rent (although it is worth it for the brand new luxury apartment with split a/c and in unit laundry). Lastly, before we moved in, we asked them To build a wall/cabinet to contain the washer/dryer in the living room and they built it for us at no cost right away.
