I lived on the 21st floor and I haven't faced the noise issues to be honest. Probably if you sleep with the windows open you might consider earplugs, otherwise I think it's a nice apartment complex with decent facilities: two rooftops (one with a pool working May-September), barbecue area, game room, some working desks and meeting rooms.

Why You Should Avoid This Building: A Clear Warning About Poor Management **The bottom line:** While the neighborhood itself is excellent, this building's dysfunctional management makes it impossible to recommend. You'll find better value and peace of mind almost anywhere else. ## The Core Problem: Family-Owned Business Without Accountability This appears to be a family-owned operation where incompetence goes unchecked because there's no real accountability structure. Poor leadership cascades down through every level of building operations, creating an environment where residents are consistently taken advantage of rather than served. ## What They Don't Tell You During Tours Management shows you around and collects your $100/month amenity fee, but here's what you'll actually experienc

The building is great except for one very significant issue. As another reviewer mentioned, those in the West tower, facing 535 Carlton Avenue, hear dogs barking at all waking hours. We’re above the 10th floor and yet it's quite loud. You'd be making a mistake to rent a unit anywhere along our side of the West tower. We actually like the dog park in theory, but its location directly between two large residential buildings belongs in the annals of bizarrely poor design choices. Moreover, my friend who is an architect explained that there are some noise reduction measures that can be implemented for dog parks (trees, special fencing/barriers) — none of which have been utilized here. So, it's just a ton of dogs barking freely all the time with no measures taken to manage the noise. UPDATE:

I’ve lived in 595 for over a year and a half, and I wanted to share both the positives and the challenges, so potential tenants can make an informed decision. Pros: • The front desk staff are extremely professional, helpful and genuinely friendly. Maintenance is also responsive and gets things done quickly. • The building offers great amenities, and the layout of the units is modern with large, beautiful windows that bring in a lot of natural light. Things to Consider: • Odor Issues: A major downside is the constant smell of cigarette and weed smoke that travels through the air vents. There have been many nights and early mornings where I’ve woken up feeling like I’m in a wet ashtray. The smell gets even worse when it rains—possibly because more residents choose to smoke indoors during

Do NOT rent an apartment here. One star is more than I would give this building and company. We have been renting here since Sept. I am now updating this as of 01/22/2024. Despite the "reply" TFC left here, still NO ONE has actually reached out to us to resolve any of our issues. Construction is on-going, with no end date given. In fact, no notice that our unit would be affected by noise so loud that you can't even be in your unit was actually ever given. Despite alerting them to this in Oct. they have done nothing but told us that they could reserve us conference rooms to work out of. I guess they think we leased a conference room from them and not an actual apartment. This is the kind of building management you'll have to deal with if you live here. This company is just downright disho
