500 Fifth Apartments

I’ve been here for a year now and just signed another 2 year lease due to the amazing experience I’ve had, when I moved in a year ago there was a slight bug problem but that has since been eradicated with the new pest control company they go thru! When I first moved in the apartment had all new flooring and was so clean and well taken care of, no holes in the walls, and it’s so spacious! Alexa is so helpful with any questions that I have and she’s so personable and friendly! I also love how pet friendly they are!

Living at the 5005th has been the worst experience of my life there’s roaches mold the managers are horrible they blame each other for everything you bring to one of their attentions I waited my entire lease term for a parking spot then while I was in the office waiting to speak about a different issue they were offering a parking spot as a special for renting a space in the apartment complex. There’s roaches spiders and if your air conditioning unit is older wasps fly in and they do nothing about it. The mold in the walls makes you and your animals sick then they try to claim there is non even after doing my own testing. Homeless people sleep in the lobby the elevators break three times a month. You can tell the managers and staff are overly stressed. Some handle it better than others. S

I just got the apartment in March my first couple of appointment with the leasing agent was terrific and that on my move in day her attitude completely shifted the lobby looks really nice and and then when we got to my floor the smell of animal urine and a mix of other unpleasant smells overwhelmed me. I went in a previous appointment with the leasing agent. I was told they were recently shampooed and the floors were absolutely disgusting, and looked like they had been sitting for months and then when we are inspected, the unit.Multiple things. Cabinets, more loose, busted and saggy. The toilet has this yellow stain at the bottom. That I cannot get off, no matter how much I scrub and chemicals put on it. And it took a couple months for them to fix the cabinets after repeated requests. And

I hate living here. When I first took the apartment the manager was very nice. They hired a company to do their management now after she left and they are insufferable. When you come to them with issues they pretend they don't understand what you're saying so that they don't have to do anything to remedy. the issue. The parking garage is covered in oil from people who don't take care of their vehicle and the management does nothing about it. The air conditioning in the apartments is a window unit that vents into the wall, so it barely works. The hallways smell like feet. I've posted some pictures of blood that's been on the basement floor for for over a week.

The apartment staff has been so helpful with my first time moving. They have been very great helping me get set up with a guarantor and have walked me through the entire process. :)
