If you value your health, sanity, or basic communication, stay far away from this place. This building is absolutely infested with bedbugs and cockroaches, and no matter how many times you report it, management ignores you or lies about having it treated. You’ll wake up with bites, watch bugs crawl across your walls, and never get a straight answer. Devlyn Thompson is the manager and will actively say mean things to you when you ask for help. There’s also black mold growing in the walls and ceilings, and you can smell it as soon as you walk in. Maintenance either does nothing or just paints over it. When you try to contact the property manager or ownership, they ghost you for weeks. These people are slumlords, plain and simple. They collect rent and disappear. I’ve rented for years in S

You can tell from the nice kitchen cabinetry and toilet unit, the owner invested in the unit, but they are losing tenants because it is not managed to the standard as per the lease agreement: 1. Noisy neighbors, people make a lot of noise through their open windows, patio and common kitchen, parking lot, barking dogs all night long. Quiet hour is a joke, the property management company is useless no matter how many time I contacted them. Btw, same as the SPD, they never showed up. If you have to live here, choose the units facing the street, they are the quieter ones by comparison, and this is the best and only option you have if you are bothered by the noises. 2. You can’t be too picky with frequent water shutoffs if you want to live here without losing your mind. I can’t imagine to liv

Lived here during a management change last year. Moved into a "loft" studio. The loft was the size of a twin xl mattress, meaning i had to sleep coffin style if I chose to sleep up there. Water shutoffs biweekly, power would occasionally flicker off and on. There was literal shit in the rear stairwell past the 3rd floor for over two weeks. Tinfoil enjoyers buying product out of the alley side basement apartments, then smoking it in the rear door cavity. Can't count how many times I had to remove a tweaker from the rear door just to get inside. Shit and piss there regularly too. When I was moving out, the management tried to bully me into paying my last month for some reason, threatening me multiple times and giving me multiple eviction notices when it was paid as a deposit when moving in.

When I moved from NY state, I signed here without seeing the apartment and neighborhood in person, and since there were not many reviews about this building, I was quite worried. After living here for about a month, I found that it’s not as bad as I initially expected, at least by my standards. 1. When I was looking for a place in First Hill, the most appealing aspect of 423 Terry was the reasonable price. However, since many of the nearby apartments are priced based on 500 Sq Ft One Bed Room, and this place is a 330 Sq Ft Studio without parking, an elevator, or a gym, it’s hard to say that the price per square feet here is particularly low. (Although there is a fitness area on the first floor, it has no windows for ventilation and only one treadmill.) However, despite not being the cheap

I had an absolute horrible experience with establishing a tour with management. First, they had to cancel my initial tour due to a "double booking" situation, which is fine by me and I don't mind making those accommodations. I flew into Seattle to tour a few apartments and their ask was well within my range of the duration of my stay. Then, management called again with the SAME double booking excuse and wanted to move my appointment to a date that I would not be in town for. So they made the accommodation of making it a virtual visit for me. I specifically told them I needed a 1pm slot due to my conflicts, that a 2:30pm WILL NOT WORK BECAUSE I AM AT WORK. I wait for some kind of initiation at one to do the virtual tour, and I receive no notice, so I call the number that called me yester
