422 Home Sales

Kevin Frantz was a wonderful sales person. But after that everything else is lack luster. House has been sitting on site for a month and it's only been a 1 way communication nightmare. Only time I get any updates is if I call. They got their money after the house was set which took 2 days which wasn't bad. But after that zero correspondence from them unless I initiated it. Got multiple emails and calls to make sure I made the call for the financial services were completed fast but was a mistake on my part. I believe if they didn't get all the money upfront they might have cared to finish the job in a timely manner. Was told I would be able to move in within a week and a half bit they didn't even have my place on the schedule to get the interior put together after I called them. The interio

After they sell you your house there kind persona and friendliness goes out the window. They rush to come "set your house" so they get there 90 percent payment and then you get tossed to the back burner until it's convenient for them and they dont have someone else to go collect a down-payment from ,they lie about dates and deadlines and just plain do not show up when they tell you they will be there . The Indiana service department is a complete circus I've been cussed out over the phone by not one but two employees now one from there billing department ,and one salesman and both times I was just calling to get answers after another of there lies had came to fruition. After living in the home six months, I must say I am very satisfied. This is the SIXTH new home we have built, but the first modular. You are never going to get involved in a major project like building a new home without at least a few problems. On reflection, building a new modular came with fewer problems than any of the stick built homes we built previously with several other highly rated contractors. I highly recommend 422 homes and the factory that built our home. We LOVE it!

Do not buy from this place. Horrible customer service they love to play the blame game on the factory and won't take responsibility. The moment you pay them they don't care about you anymore. They have your money! No one will take responsibility. Sarah is a joke. She says she will call you but never does or has some excuse. My poor parents have been waiting to get into their home. But of course they are missing the smoke stacks to the fire place and the water heater. The house has been sitting for two months which they could get into if they had these two parts. Over all stay away! Look at BBB ratings before ever shopping for a home from this place. Avoid at all cost!!!!!

Great experience! I was their last fall and told them I was just looking for now they knew their was not going to be a sale that day. They still answered all my questions in great detal and were not pushy sat down took their time to build a relationship with my wife and I. That's why we're back their to buy no one else had time for the people just looking. But they did. I would recommend to anyone looking for real honest people.
