I've had the worst experience living in this building. MANAGEMENT: The biggest issue is the building manager, Bernard, who is not helpful, while incredibly rude and sarcastic. As visible in the reviews - most (if not all) residents have a bad opinion of him, frequently commenting on his behavior. Very often when you raise an issue, the building manager ignores it and then marks it as resolved after a few days. For example, once during really strong winds, I had an issue with closing my window (some part got damaged because of the strong wind). I immediately asked for help, but no one came or responded to fix the window. As a result, my window remained open during the rainy week, causing a bunch of water to get inside my room and damage multiple things. It took several days for someone to

The city and the property itself continue to allow hundreds of motorcycles and people in modified engine cars circle the block on a 24 hour basis; They stop outside of the building and rev their engines repeatedly all throughout the day and all night. This is dangerous to the human psyche and an absolute public health crisis. This property is across the street from an "auto repair garage" that keeps loud cars on the property and parked on the sidewalk; they also let a group of about 20 dudes yell and scream all day and blast loud rap music. Across the street from that is a motorcycle garage where hundreds if not thousands of ATVs, dirtbikes, and motorcycles WHO DO NOT LEAVE THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND DRIVE IN CIRCLES ALL DAY will spawn and make your life miserable if you are in a street facing

Pros: 1. Allan the Super is superior ! Very helpful, always around to help, and overall just a great guy. If this review was for him it would have 5 stars! 2. Beautiful views of the NYC skyline. Apartment faced the city so always had views from bedroom and living room. 3. No noise from neighbors above, little noise from neighbors next door Cons: 1. Some sort of gang dealing in the street corner all day, everyday. Numerous shootings during my 1 yr lease 2. Not everyone cleans up after their dogs, elevators often smell like dog. 3. Gym could be better - cleaner and colder Did not renew my lease.

I love Bernard, contrary to others here. Bernard has been very helpful in getting me everything I need. My apartment hasn't had any issues. Bernard and Allan made sure it was clean and ready for me to move in. I haven't had any issues with him or anyone who works here. Great building and improving every day!
