From the day I moved into 231 Hackensack Plank Road, it has been nothing but stress and suffering. • My wife was never added to the lease, and even for months We begged them to fix it before our immigration interview, but the day before, they sent nothing more than an unsigned, unofficial piece of paper. Been living here for over 1 year. Have had nothing but a great experience. I have seen other reviews on here that initially made me nervous to rent, but from my experience I have nothing bad to say.

Location is perfect. I haven’t had any issues (never had to contact maintenance or management) and neighbors are nice.

231whk located down the block from espera and embory lofts (209/203 respectively); is another overpriced apartment complex. This 60 unit apartment complex gives you the feel of nyc while being in (union city nj). Its generously overpriced apartments are slowly pushing people that grew up here out of the neighborhood, bringing in people that probably have their parents paying their rent. 2k for a studio seems absurd especially since the surrounding "regular " apartments charge 1400-1800 for a 1br. However maybe you're paying for the slightly elevated view of the thread (another luxury building) that suspicious has apartments that sold as low as 325k to as high as 700k. But I guess that's life for union city now

Property management is extremely unprofessional and this building constantly has problems. The elevators are always having trouble. I've been getting leakage in my apartment from the balcony above me and noone has done anything to fix it.
