The lady who i talked to a few days ago on the phone who told me I was approved made me feel really comfortable I'm exited to await for a apartment to open up to move in

This rental agency isn't to pressed about moving you in. With an application that has no background check no credit check or employment check, one wouldn't expect a month and 2wks and still not know if you even qualify. I also had a viewing of an apartment expressed I was going to put the deposit on it in 2 days and no one was "available" to accept my deposit. I called today to see if there had been any recent changes in my application status and was given the same response as before, a call back that I never got and now must continue to wait for.

It's super dark inside the main foyer and there's a strange smell to this place. It's not a hotel or restaurant anymore, but apartments and hasn't changed the signage on the exterior to reflect that. I'm assuming to maintain the historical significance of the building. The number on the front door is out of service, but there's a desk inside off to the left side that has the correct number and hours for the business, the restaurant in the back was listed on the front door as part of the hotel... It is now called the Robin's Nest with a piece of paper taped to the front door with it's hours of operation and that's closing permanently this week. They say they will work with you and get things fixed but you will be wait your entire lease for them to get things to get fixed. When they tell you they are remodeling just know they are just trying to make things look pretty to disguise the rotted floor and electrical problems. They are paid off by Furmanos so do not expect a code enforcement to do anything about the situation. Worst rental company ever.

Even if the conditions of the apartment is unliveable they will not give you your lease. I moved out a couple months early due to the mildew and mold which is not save to breath in yet they still held my security deposit
