Customer Reviews
I lived in this apartment building for over 6 years and it was a great experience, I would highly recommend if you are looking in the area. I moved in when it was brand new and even when I left, the apartment was in great condition. The the building is made of quality materials- which is rare these days. During my time, I barely heard my neighbors-- and I've had at least 4, a few with loud pets I never heard as well. Parking is easy in the garage- there were a few break-ins, but if you live in the area that's normal - the good thing about this spot is there are two garage doors, separated by floors so its a bit more secure than the average place. The Maintenance team was always very responsive and did a great job keeping the units and area clean & safe in the middle of Cap Hill. Sadly I
I rarely post reviews but my experience at 1111 E Olive has been exceptional. I lived there for over 3 years. All the managers at this location have been attentive and warm but the current manager Natalie takes the cake. She’s helpful, friendly, plans fun community events, and my dog looked forward to seeing her every lunch walk. Velid, the maintenance manager is on top of all requests and responds the same or next business day with any requests. The location is in close proximity to the park, variety of restaurants, and light rail. The flip side is it does get loud at night and when there are events especially if you’re facing the park side. I work from home and never had issues with noise from inside or outside the apartment during work hours though. The actual apartment units are sp
TLDR: I put a deposit to reserve an apartment 4 month ago, still haven’t gotten it back. As of now, do not recommend this apartment. 4 months ago I put a $250 security deposit down for 111 East Olive. I really liked the apartment, complex and management, but decided to live closer to work. Given the fact that I’ve been waiting months to receive my deposit, I would not recommend. I didn’t even end up living here, and getting this $250 back has been a nightmare. So I can’t imagine what it would be like to get things done as a resident. I hope that I can eventually get my deposit so that this review can have a positive ending. But, until then, I recommend you look elsewhere. Maybe look for a private landlord in CapHill that is easier to get ahold of.
Update: it’s been over 6 months and I still haven’t gotten my money back. They have overcharged me for the last month (my lease ended was on Oct 6, they charged me for the full month). I have it in writing that they owe me 2.2k. Several times I tried caching in check and it would be returned because my mom’s name is also on it (I was the only one paying during the whole lease). Now I’ve been waiting for a replacement check for 2 months and haven’t gotten it yet. A big stain on my otherwise good experience with this building. Original review: I’ve lived in this building for about 4.5 years and had a (mostly) great experience. I moved out largely because I wanted to live in a quieter neighborhood. Firstly, the unsung star of the building is Velid, who does all the maintenance. He is a supe
I’ve lived in a lot of places, and this is definitely one of the best I have ever experienced. It’s in a safe but fun area of Capitol Hill close to nightlife and public transit. Natalie, the property manager, is so wonderful. She made move-in/move-out a breeze and was always there to answer my questions. Maintenance requests were always fulfilled super quickly by Velid. I can’t say enough how great of an apartment community this was — if I hadn’t moved out of state for work, I’d absolutely still be here.
