1030 Property Management

I rented from this company for two years and found the duplex to be a lovely, decently priced place. I had no issues with the property management until I moved out. That’s when their facade dropped, and I experienced a gross lack of professionalism from the property manager. I contacted her regarding the deductions from my security deposit. Here’s what happened: Paint Repairs: I submitted a maintenance request for the paint damage *months* before moving out, fully prepared to cover the cost. Instead of addressing it, they never sent a technician or followed up, but then they deducted it from my deposit. Door Stoppers: I was initially charged for this, only to have it refunded later when the property manager realized the repair was due to normal wear and tear. Light Bulbs: I replaced al

This company always has very nice properties at an affordable price. They require you make 3.5x the rent for income, which is higher than most but doable. Doable until the property manager does not know how to do math. She calculated my weekly income from my yearly salary and multiples that by 4. Last time I checked there were 52 months in a year, not 48 months. Any other company will just divide your yearly income by 12. But not 1030, she says everyone is treated the same so delete one month of your income and see if you qualify before applying. Once I brought this incorrect math she stated it wasn’t going to change and that’s how they do things. It’s sad I can’t rent from them because as I stated, they have lovely properties. They just hire people who can’t do standard math.

Love it I love 1030 property I had no problems from day one, filling out application paying my deposit paying my prorated amount moving onto to my beautiful duplexes. Maintenance is amazing. Well I know there are horrible reviews on here but my experience is a little different! I can admit that i was stalking their website in hopes of being the 1st one to apply to a unit because we all know there is a rental shortage.. As soon as i saw the listing post i applied!! Eveything went smooth and fast! When I applied for the property I was approved the same day. My unit was ready to move in ahead of schedule. I love my unit! It was nice and clean when I moved in. The management team is very responsive and nice! Every time I placed a maintenance request they jumped on it! I love it here!! If you meet the salary requirements I don't forsee you having an issue with renting from them.

I've lived in Killeen twice, and the 1030 property management was the best I've dealt with; whenever I had any maintenance issues, it was fixed promptly; Renee was very professional and helpful, and very responsive, I recommend their services and would use then again if I ever move there again. They manage some nice properties.
